The Art of the Swoosh

Nike is more than just a brand; it’s a cultural powerhouse that has redefined sports, fashion, and branding. This typography-driven lecture series spread pays homage to the brand’s legacy—using no imagery, only the power of type and color.

The bold, vibrant hues reflect Nike’s energy and influence, while strategic typography choices highlight the evolution of the Swoosh from a track shoe emblem to a global icon. Each section is meticulously designed to capture different facets of Nike’s storytelling—from its roots in performance wear to its dominance in street culture and digital branding.

This spread is an exercise in pure typographic composition, proving that great design doesn’t need images—it needs impact.

Digital Nostalgia

From the moment I first touched a computer, I was hooked. This piece is a nostalgic tribute to the early days of digital creativity—back when MS Paint was my canvas and curiosity was my fuel. I spent countless hours exploring, drawing, and seeing what I could make, shaping the foundations of my love for digital art and design.

This experiment plays with the idea of memory and evolution, blending a childhood photo of myself with a simulated vintage desktop environment. It’s a reflection on how far I’ve come—from those first pixelated drawings to crafting full-fledged digital experiences today. The mix of low-res aesthetics, retro UI, and soft, dreamlike visuals captures the feeling of looking back while continuing to push forward in digital creativity.

Lethbridge Vintage Travel Poster

I wanted to capture Lethbridge’s essence through a vintage-inspired travel poster, blending bold hues, grainy textures, and a nostalgic aesthetic. The High Level Bridge, an iconic landmark of the city where I attended university, takes center stage, bathed in vibrant golden and blue tones that elevate its grandeur.

This design is a fusion of old-school tourism posters and contemporary digital techniques, evoking the feeling of wandering, discovery, and a deep connection to place. Every detail—from the typography to the curated color palette—was chosen to channel that classic printed feel while remaining fresh and modern.

Into the Neon Jungle

This piece is a Photoshop surreal edit, blending my love for neon aesthetics, bold pink hues, and digital environments. I envisioned a scene where the jungle meets the glow of city lights, crafting a space that feels both dreamlike and futuristic.

The neon flamingos, vibrant pink accents, and moody lighting create an otherworldly contrast against the lush forest backdrop. This experiment is a play on retro synthwave visuals mixed with organic elements, symbolizing the fusion of nature and digital fantasy. It’s an escape into a world that exists somewhere between reality and imagination—a neon jungle built entirely in Photoshop.

A collection of visual experiments and edits made in various softwares. These experiments are where I push boundaries, test new techniques, and explore the “what ifs” of creativity. They embody the spirit of trial and error, where every attempt—successful or not—adds to my understanding and sharpens my skills.

Each project starts with a question: What can I learn or create today? From there, I dive into research, sketching, and hands-on experimentation. Some ideas flourish into full-fledged projects, while others become stepping stones for future creations.

Many of these experiments inspire larger projects or collaborations. If something here catches your eye or sparks an idea, let’s connect! Together, we can turn experiments into something extraordinary.
